Casebreaker, by Peartree

EFFECTIVE
16 September 2026

Casebreaker collects nothing. Nothing about you, nothing about how you play, and nothing leaves your phone.

This policy covers the Casebreaker app for iPhone, made by Peartree, an independent one-person studio. If anything here is unclear, write to support@peartreefamily.com.

What the app collects

Nothing. The app has no account and no sign-in, so it never asks for your name, your email address or anything else about you. It has no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising and no third-party software of any kind inside it. It makes no network requests at all: it never talks to Peartree or to anyone else. On the App Store its privacy label is "Data Not Collected," and that is the whole story.

What the app keeps on your phone

To be the same game tomorrow that it was today, the app remembers a few things. All of it is stored in the app's own local storage on your phone, in the place iOS gives every app for its settings. None of it is sent anywhere.

None of this identifies you. There is no name, no device identifier and no location in it, just the state of a game. If you back up your phone with iCloud or with a computer, that backup may include this data along with everything else on the phone; that is Apple's backup under your own Apple Account, and the app plays no part in it.

Children

The app collects nothing from anyone, and that includes children. It is not directed at children under 13 and is not listed in the App Store's Kids category. There is nothing in it to sign up for, buy, or share.

Erasing what the app keeps

Two ways, and both are entirely on your phone.

There is nothing to ask Peartree to delete, because Peartree never had any of it.

This website

These pages are plain, static pages, with no cookies, analytics or scripts of their own. Two companies do see your browser's requests when you open them: Cloudflare, which serves the pages, and Google, which serves the three fonts the pages use (Google Fonts). What each does with a request is described in its own privacy policy. The app itself never loads this site or anything else.

Changes to this policy

If the app ever changes what it collects or keeps, this page will change with it, and the date at the top will move. A future version that added anything of the kind would say so here and in its App Store listing before it shipped.
